National Agreement released
The
National Agreement on Foundational Supports
between the states and territories and the Commonwealth Government has now been signed and is
available on the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing website.
The National Agreement outlines what will be the respective responsibilities of the
Commonwealth and state and territory governments in delivering Thriving Kids at an overview
level.

New state consultations open on Thriving Kids
Following the release of the National Agreement, two new state level consultations are
now open.
The Tasmanian Government is beginning public consultation for Thriving Kids, between April
and June this year. Tasmanian members can register to participate in the consultation by
contacting the Disability Services and Reform team on
[email protected]
or by phone 1800 431 211.
The Western Australian government has opened a survey for people who provide services for young
children. Members in WA can complete the survey
